In 2006, the FDA inspected the Davol manufacturing plant and found major flaws in the system for tracking and reporting patient complaints about the Kugel Mesh Hernia Patch Side Effects.

The FDA determined Davol Inc. had been downplaying serious adverse health affects caused by the hernia patch, including several deaths.

The first of many Kugel mesh Hernia Patch Lawsuits was filed in December 2006, in Rhode Island. Attorneys claim their clients have suffered from severe pain and had to undergo surgery to correct bowel dissection. It is important for patients to understand that while they may not have experienced side effects yet, it is still possible in the future.

If you are unsure if your hernia surgeon used a hernia patch during surgery, you can contact the office and request a copy of your medical records. Our hernia patch lawyer will be able to look over your medical records and go over your rights. Contact one of our hernia lawyers today for a free consultation.
